Hi fellow clansmen,
i have been playing COD4 exclusively lately. every night as it stands. i have had more fun with this game than any other. the graphics are great, weapons are great, maps are fantastic and with more coming. with MOHA we are still playing the same butchered maps with no hope of any mods for maps or weapons. the last time i logged on to MOHA i retrieved twenty-five servers (that's the whole ball of wax) twenty-five servers. i just last night retrieved well over thirteen-thousand active servers for COD4 (is this telling you all something ?) i logged onto the original COD servers (a 10 year old game) and got about one-thousand servers. COD2 will let you retrieve well over three-thousand servers. COD4 can be played on a modest computer with no SLI or astronomical amounts of ram. my computer has a 3.2 gb pentium4 cpu with 3gb ram and a 256mb ati vid card and i can run high resolution on COD4. with MOHA i had to eliminate all detail and run at the lowest resolution to even play. what a let down!!!
what i am trying to say is that as a clan it is time to move on and into a better gaming environment. COD4 can be bought very cheaply (about $35.00 us) and its well worth the expendature. look i usually play on the Bones or mostly on the Merciless bastards server. more fun than you can imagine. the other clans have matches as is on MOHA and there are more to have matches with.
all of you please consider this. look i like things to remain stable but lets face it MOHA was a giant bomb from the day EA started writing it. i have never had so many problems with any game like it gave me. please lets get into a better platform to play in.

Well its not dead... yet. But its a shame that MOHA multiplayer is not very good compared to other games. Even Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead have hundreds players of every night. (and thats like 5 year old game??)

Sure, both are right, also I have others MOH vers. and is fantastic that U could download skins, maps, weapons even sounds to get a better expierence.
It´s a shame as you said that MOHA has a few maps and always has to see the same skins and mods plus the inferior number of servers to play.
Also I have too COD4 and is a fantastic game.
I´m up with Levern about to move on as a clan if we want to prevail in this jungle.

Well I enjoy MOHA more than any COD game, I know it has been discontinued, however, I still have great fun with my family, remember a new modern version is out in the Autumn.

BC2 is still an E.A. game and still maintains many of the problems that are inherent with the MOHA series. (i played the Battlefield 2 Demo) it will be several long month before i can afford it right now i need to get an new power supply so i can install my new GTS 250 nividia card. so if i try an E.A. game it will probably be BC2 and not the new MOHA. i have had such a bad experience with MOHA that i will never give E.A. my money for another MOHA Game. after all that game destroyed my hard drive , never again !! I have had very good experiences with all Activision games since 1993, so i will still try to encourage all to play COD2 or COD4. there great ! i really trust that company and they provide good products, E.A. SUCKS ! the only game that E.A. ever did a decent job with is MOH Pacific Assault, but it still had problems. so why not try COD4 you wont be disappointed, it is a fantastic game. the multiplayer is the best i have seen. all of you have spent your money on COH and not many played it , so why not try COD4 ? one note with COD4 you can set up your weapons setup the way you want it and in Battlefield 2 or BC2 you have to pick their weapons packages as they choose. in COD4 i have 5 custom weapons setups that i can choose from, the other games wont let you do that. so if i want to carry an M21 sniper rifle with an AK47 suppressed along with claymores and flash and frag grenades i can. great game ! just think about it 12,000 plus servers active. MOHA never did that, generally the people from cod tried it and went back to cod2 or 4. that says something. just think about it.

I have many friends in Dundee who have this game, they say it is great you can even blow up buildings wow awesome, however, they also said it had a few glitches in on-line gamimg, they were hoping for a patch.

well, i played the singleplayer and indeed it's awesome!
I wait for more info how the multiplayer will be, because with the bbc2 i have it's not possible to play multi, if you understand what i mean

here's one of the other nice things about COD4 or COD2 you don't have to sign up or even register the game to play multiplayer. just get your settings right and download servers then play. and i can assure you the multiplayer is fantastic. i play 3 or 4 hours every day on my favorite servers and the gameplay is great one other note that if you play the Tactical Realism or hardcore like i play that you will have to get used to their rules, but their not too bad. they are different from we are used too but good rules and well layed out.
(Note: E.A. just about requires your soul to play.) if you have the game then just get in the multiplayer and set your filters (accept all things at first) and just retrieve servers, that's all you need to do. search and destroy is the best and more like objective like on MOHA. you can usually find me at Merciless Bastards server or Bones server. the maps are great and lots of them. by the way you will want your download setting on so you can retrieve the servers maps. when you log on any server that uses mods you will need to download their mods and maps to play. also when you log on a server you will have to play for an hour or so then they will unlock all you customization and camo's as well give you a rank. look for the servers that are Tactical realism (if they have the word tactical or tac in their title they usualy are).

I have both of the COD 2 and 4, but i do not like the gamestyle.
I prefer MOH airborne.
It's just a personal taste.
I do like that you have a great time overthere, but you won't see me there.
Just enjoy your game, mate! Only not with me.

I like some of cods gameplay but I don't think I will be going back to older games even if they are very well populated.

I'm definitely thinking about going to Bad Company 2 though, I'll probably get it pretty soon.

Hey all, its my first post i just joined C|L today. I was playing MOHA since it came out. I used to play Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, SOF2, BF 1942, CS and more. I still play Airborne, COD4 and MOHAA, will get BF BC2.
MOHA isn't dead at all, I think the number of people playing MOHA are about the same as few years ago, maybe more or a bit less people are playing. I guess most ppl like playing COD, they keep coming with new games every few years since COD1. Getting more popular than EA. MOH: Airborne isn't the best game but its different from any FPS games cuz of Airborne.
I just bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 on eBay few days ago Will get it by mail this week. Can't wait to play BC2 but I will not give up on Airborne. BC2 got huge maps, lot of guns, almost same as COD Modern Warfare but better cuz they don't have that annoying Airstrike, Helicopter, Dogs, Artillery attacks that can't be turned off.. BC2 is in top 3 Xfire's Online Games!

WhiteFang I think you may be right about the Moha numbers, I dont think it will die, its to good a strategy game.

I agree Biro, above some respectfuls opinions this game is far away to die. Just look at the oldest versions of MOH. In fact, as I said before, those oldies are so goodies (ho ho) because now you can download skins, weapons, maps, sounds and you can find a whole wolrd of server in at least 4 or 5 game mods and maybe tomorrow this could hapen with MOHA. And yes, they don´t has the same graphics quality as MOHA or COD but the fun is owsome.
Maybe the main reason that this game is not so populated as others is because of the hardware requirements meanwhile other games doesn´t need too much to run.
Other hand, I do believe that we (as players) need to increase our clan enviroment about some games that we can include to play with..

cod4 would be my choice as an xtra game

i think you are mistaken about about bc2 not having airstrikes or choppers to blow you up although i agree no dogs, but i have played BF2 and not only do they have aircraft or choppers but i have conducted the airstrikes myself while in the cockpit of an f-35 or an mig 29. i have ventured into choppers as well. i have the most fun while in a t-90 or m-1.
as far as MOHA is concerned i suppose ther will be a few people that will play this now defunct game till they shut down the servers. but it is still DEAD. by the way my friend YOPPE, COD4 is not all that old, it came out just before MOHA. now what will get you is that COD4 still has 12,000 active servers while MOHA only has 25 active servers. i think it fair to say MOHA is dead.
no doubt BC2 seems to be a good alternative to MOHA but no doubt that our COD5 server would be better with the original COD4 modern warfare (not MW2) there are no dogs in the multiplayer but you can call in an airstrike from jets or choppers if you have enough kills.

As far as I understand being dead means that there are no players at all or 1-5 people playing sometimes in one server. But MOHA still has over 100 players every night. In the weekend nights OBC server is almost full + other servers. It has fever players than COD games but I dont think its fair to call it dead yet.
